The Wu-Tang Clan has proved there’s greater strength in numbers as all nine members reunited for a late night TV slot.
RZA and Raekwon buried the hatchet and stepped-out with the Clan overnight to perform on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. And they used the session to reveal their hugely awaited new album would arrive before Christmas.
The full unit of Raekwon, GZA, RZA, Ghostface Killah, Method Man, Inspectah Deck, U-God, Masta Killa, and Cappadonna were on hand to deliver renditions of new work “Ron O’Neal” and the classic 1997 track "Triumph". Stewart’s team found enough chairs for the hip hoppers to sit and chat with the show's host.
The NYC collective is back in business with the upcoming release of the album “A Better Tomorrow,” which the band announced would arrive in November and is preceded by “Ron O’Neal.” The full video of the Daily Show performance hasn't been uploaded yet, but snippets have been posted on Instagram.
